Nut Case

Sweet and nut-forward, the Nut Case layers amaretto and Frangelico over a light-rum base with a bright pop of lime to cut the sweetness. It pours a warm amber-brown over ice and drinks like a boozy dessert, smooth, rich, and easy to sip. Worth trying if you like crème/liqueur-forward cocktails that feel like an after-dinner treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • 1.5 oz Amaretto Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz Frangelico® Hazelnut Liqueur
  • 0.75 oz Rose's® Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine light rum, amaretto, Frangelico, and Rose's sweetened lime juice in a shaker.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously until well-chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
  4. Serve immediately.
