A boozy, dessert-style shot that layers coffee, anise and orange liqueurs for a sweet, aromatic sip. It looks striking as three distinct bands, dark coffee, clear sambuca, and bright amber Grand Marnier, and is worth trying for the contrast between coffee depth, licorice spice and a citrus finish.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 shot Kahlúa® Coffee Liqueur
  • 1/3 shot Sambuca
  • 1/3 shot Grand Marnier® Orange Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Into the shot glass, gently layer the Kahlua to begin.
  2. Following the first layer, carefully add the Sambuca to float on top of the Kahlua.
  3. Conclude the drink by softly layering the Grand Marnier atop the Sambuca to maintain distinct layers.
