Bloody Maria

A Bloody Maria is a savory, tomato-forward twist on the Bloody Mary that swaps vodka for tequila, giving the drink a peppery, agave-tinged backbone. It pours a deep red over ice, with bright lemon acidity and a spicy hit from Tabasco and celery salt, great for a bold brunch cocktail or anyone who likes savory, assertive flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Tequila
  • 2 oz Tomato Juice
  • 1 dash Lemon Juice
  • 1 dash Tabasco® Sauce
  • 1 dash Celery Salt

Instructions

  1. Shake the tequila, tomato juice, lemon juice, Tabasco sauce, and celery salt with cracked ice until well mixed and chilled.
  2. Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
  3. Garnish with a slice of lemon before serving.
