Colonial Rummer

A rich, fruit-forward rum cocktail with layers of dark molasses notes from Myers's balanced by sweet apricot and peach brandies. Served over crushed ice with bright citrus and cherry garnish, it looks like a casual tiki-style sipper that’s both refreshing and indulgent. Worth trying if you want a simple, boozy tropical drink that’s easy to make but full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2.5 oz Myers's® Original Dark Rum
  • 1 oz Apricot Brandy
  • 1 oz Peach Brandy

Instructions

  1. Fill an old-fashioned glass halfway with crushed ice.
  2. Pour in dark rum, apricot brandy, and peach brandy over the ice.
  3. Use a swizzle stick to gently stir and mix the ingredients.
  4. Garnish the drink with a wedge of orange, a wedge of lime, and a cherry.
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy with leisure.
