J. R.'s Godfather

A mellow, slightly sweet sipper where almond-rich amaretto softens the warm vanilla and oak of bourbon. Pours amber over ice and stirs into a smooth, easy-drinking digestif that’s worth trying as an after-dinner nightcap or for anyone who likes nutty, whiskey-forward cocktails.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 0.5 oz Amaretto Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top.
  2. Pour the bourbon into the glass over the ice.
  3. Add the amaretto to the bourbon in the glass.
  4. Gently stir the mixture to combine the flavors thoroughly.
