Bright lemon and powdered sugar balance the warm, fruity depth of brandy, finished with a fizzy splash of carbonated water for a light, slightly sweet, citrus-forward profile. Poured tall over ice with an orange slice and cherry, it's a refreshing, easy-to-make Collins that's perfect for summer sipping or as a crowd-pleasing aperitif.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Juice of Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz Brandy
  • 1 tsp Confectioners' Sugar
  • Fill Carbonated Water

Instructions

  1. Combine the lemon juice, brandy, and powdered sugar in a shaker with cracked ice.
  2. Shake thoroughly to mix and chill the ingredients.
  3. Strain the mixture into a Collins glass.
  4. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  5. Fill the glass with carbonated water and gently stir.
  6. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry.
  7. Serve with a straw and enjoy.
