Ping-Pong Cocktail

Bright, gently tart sloe gin is tempered by a squeeze of lemon and finished with a silky, foamy egg-white head that gives the drink a smooth mouthfeel and a pale rosy hue. Light and elegant, it’s an approachable, slightly fruity aperitif that’s worth trying for its velvety texture and balanced citrus-berry flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Sloe Gin
  • 0.25 of Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg Whites

Instructions

  1. Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water or placing it in the refrigerator.
  2. Add 2 oz sloe gin to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Squeeze the juice from 1/4 of a lemon and add it to the shaker.
  4. Include 1 egg white in the shaker with the other ingredients.
  5. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
  6. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to properly mix and chill the contents.
  7. Remove the ice from the chilled cocktail glass.
  8. Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared cocktail glass, ensuring a smooth and frothy pour.
  9. Serve the cocktail immediately to enjoy its fresh and smooth flavors.
