Chowning's Tavern Wine Cooler

Bright, tart lemonade provides a sweet-citrus backbone while a float of dry red wine adds a restrained tannic, fruity note. Together it makes a light, refreshing sipper. Ingredients

  • 0.75 glass Lemonade
  • 0.25 glass Dry Red Wine

Instructions

  1. Fill a glass three-quarters full with lemonade over crushed ice.
  2. Carefully pour the dry red wine over the lemonade to create a layered effect.
  3. Garnish with a mint sprig and a maraschino cherry to complete the drink.
