A Cosmopolitan is a bright, slightly tart cocktail where zesty lime and orange liqueur balance the sweet-tart cranberry, all carried on a clean vodka backbone. It pours a pretty pink and is shaken until silky-chilled, an easy, crowd-pleasing sipper that's ideal for ordering at a bar or mixing quickly at home.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • 0.75 oz Triple Sec Liqueur
  • 0.75 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 1 oz Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. Add ice cubes to a cocktail shaker until it is half full.
  2. Pour vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice into the shaker.
  3. Secure the lid and shake the mixture vigorously until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass using a fine mesh strainer.
  5. Serve the cocktail immediately and enjoy.
