Adult Hot Chocolate

A peppermint-infused hot chocolate with a boozy kick, rich, velvety hot cocoa lifted by cool mint and finished with pillowy whipped cream and chocolate shavings. It looks festive in an Irish coffee cup, crowned with cream and dark curls, and is perfect as a cozy after-dinner treat or winter nightcap.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Peppermint Schnapps
  • 6 oz Hot Chocolate
  • 0.5 oz Whipped Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Irish Coffee Cup by filling it with hot water for a few moments and then dispose of the water.
  2. Pour peppermint schnapps into the warmed cup.
  3. Carefully fill the rest of the cup with hot chocolate, stirring gently to blend the flavors.
  4. Top the drink generously with whipped cream.
  5. Add chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream for an extra touch.
