Brandied Apricot Frappe

Bright apricot fruitiness and warm Cognac combine with a whisper of almond from the amaretto for a sweet, jammy sip tempered by brandy warmth. Poured over crushed ice and garnished with a cherry, it looks like a frosted, jewel-toned refresher and makes a smooth, dessert-style cocktail worth ordering when you want something fruity and boozy.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Cognac
  • 1 oz Apricot Liqueur
  • 1 tsp Amaretto Liqueur
  • 1 oz Apricot Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine cognac, apricot brandy, amaretto almond liqueur, and apricot juice in a shaker.
  2. Shake the mixture well to blend the ingredients completely.
  3. Pour the mixed ingredients into a double cocktail glass filled with crushed ice.
  4. Garnish with a cherry to enhance the visual appeal of the drink.
