Amer Picon Punch

Bright, bittersweet and effervescent, Amer Picon Punch pairs the orange-bitter complexity of Amer Picon with a touch of grenadine sweetness and a floating measure of brandy. Visually striking, the grenadine sinks and the brandy is gently floated to create a layered presentation over sparkling soda. Worth trying if you enjoy aperitif-style, citrus-bitter drinks that are fizzy, slightly boozy, and easy to sip.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Grenadine
  • 2.5 oz Amer Picon® Bitter Orange Liqueur
  • Fill Soda Water
  • 1 oz Brandy

Instructions

  1. Begin by filling an old-fashioned glass with fresh ice cubes.
  2. Add one teaspoon of grenadine to the glass.
  3. Pour in two and a half ounces of Amer Picon® Bitter Aperitif.
  4. Top off the glass with soda water, leaving just enough room for the brandy.
  5. Gently float one ounce of brandy over the top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  6. Serve immediately without a garnish to preserve the layered effect.
