Thunder

Velvety and rich, Thunder blends warm brandy with a silky egg yolk and just enough confectioners' sugar for sweetness, finished with a surprising kick from cayenne. It pours a pale golden color and drinks like a dessert-meets-nightcap, smooth, warming, and oddly comforting.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Brandy
  • 1 tsp Confectioners' Sugar
  • 1 pinch Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 yolk Egg Yolk

Instructions

  1. Combine brandy, powdered sugar, cayenne pepper, and an egg yolk in a shaker.
  2. Add ice to the shaker, and shake the mixture thoroughly until well chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy.
