- 1 glass Milk
- 8 drops Almond Extract
Instructions
- In a gallon or half-gallon jar, combine the rum, lemon rind, orange juice, and sugar until well-mixed.
- In a separate container, mix the bitter almond flavoring thoroughly with the milk.
- Pour the milk mixture into the jar with the other ingredients.
- Cover the jar and place it in a warm area with a temperature between 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Allow the mixture to sit until the milk curdles, which typically takes between one and three hours.
- Once the milk has curdled, filter the mixture through filter paper to remove solids.
- Transfer the filtered liquid into bottles and seal tightly.
- Let the bottled drink rest for two weeks to develop its flavor before serving.
