Catherine Of Sheridan Square

A creamy, coffee-forward cooler where dark rum adds molasses warmth beneath Tia Maria's sweet coffee notes and chilled coffee keeps it bright. Visually it's a pale, slightly tan drink served over crushed ice in an Irish coffee cup, pleasantly slushy and approachable. It's worth trying if you like dessert-like coffee cocktails that are quick to make and easy to sip as an after-dinner treat.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Dark Rum
  • 0.5 oz Tia Maria® Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 oz Light Cream
  • 4 oz Coffee

Instructions

  1. Fill an Irish coffee glass with crushed ice.
  2. Pour dark rum, Tia Maria, light cream, and cold coffee over the ice.
  3. Stir the ingredients thoroughly until well mixed.
