Kirsch and Cassis

Juicy blackcurrant sweetness from crème de cassis meets the clean, cherry-kernel warmth of kirsch for a bright, slightly tart, fruit-forward sip topped with lively soda. Pale ruby in a white-wine glass over ice, it’s light and effervescent, an easy aperitif or summer refresher for anyone who likes fruit-forward drinks that aren’t overly boozy.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Crème de Cassis Liqueur
  • 1 oz Kirschwasser
  • Fill Soda Water

Instructions

  1. Pour the creme de cassis and Kirschwasser® cherry brandy into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  3. Shake the mixture well until chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a wine glass over two fresh ice cubes.
  5. Top up with soda water to taste.
  6. Serve immediately.
