Charro Negro

A Charro Negro is a refreshing, effervescent mix of blanco tequila, bright lemon juice and cola with a salted rim. It tastes lightly tart and citrusy up front, then mellowed by caramel cola and a clean tequila bite. An easy, crowd-pleasing drink that looks striking dark over ice with a salt-coated rim.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Lemon Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Herradura® Tequila
  • Fill Coca-Cola®

Instructions

  1. Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with lemon juice and dip it into salt to coat.
  2. Place the ice cubes into the glass.
  3. Pour the Herradura Tequila and the juice from half a lemon over the ice.
  4. Add a pinch of salt if desired.
  5. Gently fill the remaining space in the glass with Coca-Cola.
  6. Stir the drink gently to mix the ingredients well.
