A warming, dessert-style sipper where brandy's rich stone-fruit warmth meets tawny port's raisiny, nutty sweetness, with a whisper of orange from the triple sec. It pours deep mahogany and is silky and smooth on the palate, ideal as an after-dinner digestif or a cozy, contemplative cocktail to sip slowly.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Brandy
  • 1.5 oz Tawny Port
  • 0.5 tsp Triple Sec Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Add crushed ice to a mixing glass until it is half-filled.
  2. Pour in brandy, tawny port, and triple sec.
  3. Stir the mixture thoroughly to combine the flavors.
  4. Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a cocktail glass.
