Venus Rum

Bright and refreshing with a fruity apricot sweetness and zesty lime cutting through the white rum backbone; the triple sec adds additional citrus depth while soda lightens and lengthens the sip. It pours a pale golden hue over crushed ice and the starfruit garnish gives a tropical, attractive finish, an easy, crowd-pleasing summer refresher worth ordering or mixing at home.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz White Rum
  • 1 oz Apricot Brandy
  • 0.5 oz Triple Sec Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Soda Water

Instructions

  1. Fill an old-fashioned glass with broken ice.
  2. In a shaker, combine white rum, apricot brandy, triple sec, and lime juice.
  3. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the ice.
  5. Top with soda water.
  6. Garnish with a slice of starfruit.
  7. Serve with a straw.
