Louisville Slugger

Bright, slightly sweet and fruity on first sip from the blackberry brandy, with a citrus snap from the lemon and a warm, oaky bourbon backbone balanced by dry vermouth's subtle dryness. It pours a pale rose-amber and is served chilled and clear in a cocktail glass with a lemon twist for aromatic lift. Worth trying if you like spirit-forward martini-style cocktails with a fruity, easy-drinking twist.

  • 1 oz Bourbon
