Bright, whisky-forward sip that balances Canadian whisky's grainy warmth with the sweet mandarin-orange character of Van Der Hum and a sharp lick of lemon. It pours a warm amber and sits silky in a brandy snifter with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Worth trying if you enjoy spirit-led, citrus-tinted sippers that are easy to make and satisfying as a nightcap.

Ingredients

  • 1.75 oz Canadian Whisky
  • 0.5 oz Van Der Hum® Liqueur
  • 0.25 oz Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine Canadian whisky, Van Der Hum® liqueur, and lemon juice in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir the mixture thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  3. Strain the mixture into a brandy snifter.
