Tequila Sour

Bright and tart, the Tequila Sour balances zesty lemon with a touch of powdered sugar to soften tequila's peppery agave notes. It pours a pale, chilled yellow into an Old-Fashioned glass and is finished simply with a lemon slice and cherry for an inviting, low-fuss presentation. It's a quick, refreshing alternative to a whiskey sour that's easy to make at home or order at a bar.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 0.5 Juice of a Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Confectioners' Sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine tequila, lemon juice, and powdered sugar in a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well until the mixture is chilled and the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Strain the mixture into an Old-Fashioned glass.
  4. Gently place half a slice of lemon on top of the drink.
  5. Add a cherry on top as a garnish before serving.
