Havana Special

Bright pineapple juice and a touch of maraschino lend a tropical, fruity sweetness layered over clean white rum. It looks pale golden and refreshing served in a tall glass piled with crushed ice. A great choice when you want a simple, beachy highball that's effortless to make and easy to drink.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz White Rum
  • 0.25 oz Maraschino Cherry Liqueur
  • 2 oz Pineapple Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the white rum, maraschino liqueur, and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice.
  2. Shake well until thoroughly mixed and chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a large highball glass filled with crushed ice.
  4. Serve immediately.
