East Indian

A crisp, wine-forward aperitif that tastes dry and subtly nutty from the sherry, balanced by herbal, botanical notes from the vermouths and a whisper of citrus bitterness from the orange bitters. Pale straw and crystal-clear when served up, it’s an elegant, low-ABV sipper worth trying as a refined start to a meal or a light evening drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Dry Sherry
  • 0.75 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 0.25 oz White Vermouth
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters

Instructions

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the dry sherry, dry vermouth, bianco vermouth, and orange bitters.
  3. Stir the ingredients gently until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.
