Boston Cooler

Bright and effervescent, the Boston Cooler balances tart lemon with a kiss of powdered sugar and clean white rum, finished with soda for a lively fizz. Served tall over crushed ice with an orange peel spiral, it’s visually sparkling and wonderfully refreshing. Easy to make and perfect for warm-weather sipping.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Confectioners' Sugar
  • Fill Soda Water

Instructions

  1. Combine fresh lemon juice, powdered sugar, and a small amount of club soda in a collins glass. Stir until the sugar fully dissolves.
  2. Fill the glass with cracked ice to chill the mixture.
  3. Pour in the white rum over the ice.
  4. Top the drink with more club soda, ensuring it reaches the rim of the glass.
  5. Gently stir to combine all the ingredients, ensuring a consistent flavor throughout.
  6. Garnish with a spiral of orange peel to enhance the presentation before serving.
