Scotch Cobbler

A smoky, slightly sweet sipper where peaty Scotch is brightened by orange curaçao and rounded by a splash of brandy. Presented over ice with an orange slice and mint, it looks invitingly rustic and aromatic. It's an easy, refined twist on a classic cobbler that's worth ordering if you enjoy spirit-forward drinks with a citrus lift.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Scotch
  • 0.25 oz Brandy
  • 0.25 oz Curaçao Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the scotch.
  3. Add the brandy.
  4. Follow with the curacao.
  5. Gently stir the mixture to combine the flavors.
  6. Place a slice of orange on top of the drink.
  7. Finish by adding a mint sprig on top for garnish.
  8. Serve immediately.
