A light, effervescent aperitif that balances the herbaceous dryness of dry vermouth with the gentle sweetness of sweet vermouth, all lifted by sparkling soda and a lemon twist. It looks pale and sparkling over ice with a bright citrus aroma from the twist. Worth trying if you want a simple, elegant, low-ABV sipper before a meal or on a warm afternoon.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • Fill Soda Water

Instructions

  1. Chill a highball glass by filling it with ice cubes.
  2. Pour dry vermouth over the ice.
  3. Follow it with sweet vermouth.
  4. Top up the glass with club soda.
  5. Gently stir the ingredients to combine.
  6. Garnish with a twist of lemon for added aroma and flavor.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.
