A chilled, dessert-style shooter that tastes like a boozy Peppermint Pattie, sweet coffee from Kahlúa, bright mint heat from peppermint schnapps, and a smooth, creamy Baileys finish. It looks striking as three distinct layers of dark brown, clear/greenish mid, and pale cream on top, and is worth trying when you want a quick, indulgent after-dinner treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Glass Kahlúa® Coffee Liqueur
  • 1/4 Glass Peppermint Schnapps
  • 1/4 Glass Baileys® Original Irish Cream

Instructions

  1. Begin by partially filling a shot glass halfway with Kahlua.
  2. Slowly introduce Peppermint Schnapps using an inverted spoon to create a layer beneath the Kahlua. Ensure it occupies a quarter of the glass.
  3. Employ a spoon, right side up, to gently layer Bailey's Irish Cream over the Kahlua, filling the remaining quarter of the glass.
  4. Savor quickly for a flavor reminiscent of a Peppermint Pattie. For optimal sensation, chill all ingredients beforehand.
