Black & Tan

A Black & Tan pairs a hoppy pale ale with a creamy, roasted stout to deliver a crisp, slightly bitter sip with chocolatey and coffee-like undertones. Ingredients

  • 1 part Bass® Pale Ale
  • 1 part Guinness® Stout

Instructions

  1. Start by filling a pint glass to the halfway point with Bass® Pale Ale.
  2. Using the back of a spoon, slowly pour the Guinness® Stout over the ale until the glass is full.
  3. If poured correctly, the Guinness should rest on top of the Bass, creating the signature Black & Tan appearance.
